Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is hiring a Part‑Time Licensed Veterinary Technician at Redmond Fall City Animal Hospital, a Thrive partner. Role includes assisting veterinarians in outpatient care, surgical support, and labs with shifts Monday–Wednesday.

Earn a $5,000 sign‑on bonus if eligible and enjoy Thrive Membership options for clients. Applicants must hold a Washington State Veterinary Technician license, have strong communication, nursing skills, and be able to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Washington State Veterinary Technician license.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong nursing skills including vitals, venipuncture, IV placement, meds.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with maximizing productivity and patient flow in hospital functions.
• Obtain health history from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems support.
• Assist anesthesia, dentistry, radiographs, and nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Use safe restraining techniques and maintain clean, sterile treatment areas and labs.
• Prepare patients, medications and equipment for examinations, surgery and procedures.
• Collect and prepare lab samples for in-house and reference labs.
• Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
