Allied Universal® in SAN JOSE, CA is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Licensed Unarmed Patrol to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a designated site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour with daytime hours from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM. This position supports entry to a career with the industry leader in security services and requires a high school diploma and compliance with

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience or more.
• State/city/license requirements may apply; guard card preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of galleries, offices, entrances and exterior perimeters.
• Assist with visitor flow and adherence to museum policies; maintain a welcoming presence.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, report observations per site procedures.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, deter unauthorized access.
