Job summary

Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health in Fresno, CA, is seeking a developing clinician for a part-time role across our comprehensive behavioral health programs. You’ll provide direct clinical care, participate in supervision, and grow your clinical identity within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include individual, group, couples, and family therapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and coordinating care with case managers.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Current state license as a mental health therapist (ACSW, AMFT, APCC) with active associate number per BBS.
• Minimum of one year of experience in mental health/substance abuse treatment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and working with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in word processing and databases/spreadsheets.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record; DOJ background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy.
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization as needed.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans; monitor progress.
• Complete timely progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with case managers, medical staff, and leadership.
• Engage in supervision and in-house training; participate in QA initiatives.
• Support transitions and discharge planning.
