Job summary

Allied Universal in Gibbstown, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Licensed Patrol Driver. You will provide unarmed security at a chemical/petrochemical site, perform patrols, monitor access points, and support safety and customer service efforts.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 20 lbs are required or preferred, with background checks and drug screening conducted. Position offers flexible shifts (Fri–Sun 2 PM–10 PM) and opportunities for growth within a leading security

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide unarmed security services at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and restricted-area access concerns; report observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities in logs and reports.
