Job summary

Allied Universal in Gibbstown, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Panel Patrol Driver to provide reliable, flexible coverage at an assigned site. This role offers shift-based hours, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform access control, patrols of facilities, respond to incidents, and prepare incident reports, while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• State, county, or city security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical/petrochemical location; carry out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, process areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials/visitor authorization, maintain logs, and communicate access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; follow reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations and issues to appropriate personnel.
