New U Therapy Center & Family Services in California seeks a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) for a part-time, hybrid role across Valencia, Torrance and Westlake Village. You will deliver psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted CA license as a Psychologist.
• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure outpatient experience.
• Commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships and meaningful client outcomes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in growing long-term within a private practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families in person and via telehealth.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 24 clients with patient-centered care.
• Maintain a minimum of 20 billable clinical hours per week.
• Collaborate with in-house psychiatry and other providers for coordinated care.

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is a thriving, innovative outpatient practice with beautiful offices in Valencia, Torrance, and Westlake Village. We're growing fast, and we're looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to join us part‑time and help our clients and families do their best work in therapy.

What You'll Do

• Provide psychotherapy — deliver high-quality in‑person and telehealth psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families based on clinical need and treatment plans.
• Manage your caseload — maintain a caseload of approximately 24 clients with consistent, patient‑centered care.
• Meet a manageable productivity standard — maintain a minimum of 20 billable clinical hours per week while balancing quality of care and documentation.
• Collaborate across disciplines — work directly with our in‑house psychiatric staff, therapists, and other providers through regular consultation and coordinated care.
• Keep documentation current — complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in line with organizational policy and professional/regulatory standards.
• Grow with your peers — take part in peer case consultations, monthly trainings, and team‑based learning.
• Help shape our culture — contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, mutual respect, collaboration, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

What You'll Need

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted CA license with the Board of Psychology as a Psychologist.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑licensure experience in outpatient mental health or private practice.
• A genuine commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships and meaningful client outcomes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in growing long‑term within a private practice.
