Job summary

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is a respected multidisciplinary mental health practice with locations in Valencia, Torrance, and Westlake Village. We seek an Associate Therapist to provide psychotherapy within a collaborative, supportive team and grow with us after licensure.

You’ll manage 25 active clients, receive supervision, and access comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401K match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Completion of at least 1,000 post-graduate clinical hours toward licensure.
• Strong commitment to building therapeutic relationships and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A desire to grow within a group private practice and remain with us after licensure.
• No history of receiving services from New U Therapy Center & Family Services.
• No immediate family member currently receiving services from New U Therapy Center & Family Services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 25 active clients, providing high-quality outpatient mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Help clients set meaningful goals and work toward measurable outcomes.
• Diligently track clients’ progress and serve as an accountability partner.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely and legally compliant manner.
• Actively participate as a positive and collaborative member of the clinical team.

Rates:

Up to $40-$44 per clinical hour

Work Set-up:

Hybrid - one to two days a week to provide in- person therapy.
