Position Summary

The Student Health Center is looking for a part‑time Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse who can be available on weekdays. No weekends or holidays will be required. These are flexible hours to be determined by needs. This position is during the school year only.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include direct patient care, taking vital signs, short history, brief exam. Assist with procedures (i.e. repair of lacerations, minor surgical procedures) and Women’s Health. Perform lab waived tests as ordered by Physician or APRN . Draw blood for the lab as indicated. Accurately and legibly document findings on patient record using computerized Electronic Medical Record technology. Other duties include patient education, equipment maintenance, and room stocking and cleaning.

Required Education and/or Experience

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. No experience necessary. New graduates welcome to apply, we will train.
