Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Hygienist to provide patient-centered preventive and therapeutic care in a nonprofit community clinic.

You will perform prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, take and develop dental radiographs, educate patients on oral hygiene, and collaborate with providers to ensure comprehensive care while maintaining accurate records and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planing.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
