Job summary

The Chicago School is seeking a part-time licensed clinical psychologist to provide individual supervision to practicum students at our Southern California campuses. Supervisors will meet with each supervisee for at least one hour per week and review clinical notes and testing reports.

Reporting to the College Director of the Office of Placement and Training for the College of Professional Psychology, the supervisor will guide students in developing professional identity, ethics, and clinical

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Must be a licensed psychologist.
• Experience supervising doctoral-level students in a clinical setting.
• Experience with psychological testing and report writing.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet supervisees at least one hour per week (not to exceed two hours).
• Review student clinical notes and testing reports and provide feedback.
• Support students in developing their professional identity and clinical skills.
• Assist with selection, administration, and scoring of assessment tools.
• Emphasize ethics in clinical practice and address ethical concerns.
• Integrate diversity in assessment, conceptualization, and treatment.
• Help students write well-organized and clear reports.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information.
• Behave collegially and adhere to professional conduct standards.
