Responsibilities

• Shelving books and materials in proper order and maintaining neat shelves.
• Check in/out library materials and assist with circulation desk duties.
• Answer phones and direct patron questions to staff.
• Prepare newspapers and magazines for shelves.
• Empty outside book drop and check shelves for overdue items.
• Clean DVDs and CDs and perform minor book repairs.
• Assist with library programs, room setup, and bulletin boards.
• Help patrons use equipment like copiers and microfilm machines.
• Maintain clean, orderly public areas and workspaces.
• Provide courteous and helpful service to patrons.
