Hours:Evening & weekend shifts. Up to 20 hours a week

Pay: $15/hour

The Lyon Township Public Library is looking to hire a new Library Page to start immediately. This position performs a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: shelving and straightening library materials, setting up for and assisting with library programs, and library closing procedures.

The new Library Page should be able to sort and file alphabetically and numerically, push and pull library carts weighing up to 75 pounds, deal tactfully and courteously with the public, and take direction. Must be 18 years old. A love for libraries and a sense of humor helps, too.

Typical schedule is 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm two nights a week, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturdays
