Job summary

ACCEL Schools' Barber Preparatory Academy in Highland Park, Michigan seeks a Part-Time Library Media Specialist to cultivate a love of reading and integrate library resources into the curriculum. You will organize materials, collaborate with teachers, supervise students, promote literacy, and engage families while supporting early learning and research skills in PK-8.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Organize, catalog, and maintain all library materials and resources
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library skills into the curriculum

• Participate in school activities, events, and non-instructional programs as needed
