Job summary

Bismarck Library Foundation, Inc. in Bismarck, ND seeks a part-time, on-site Development Coordinator to build the BLF donor base and grow support for operating, endowment, and special projects.

Under the Library Director and BLF Board, you will manage fundraising campaigns, draft grant proposals, coordinate events, and communicate with donors and volunteers to advance the library's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years in fundraising, PR or technical writing.
• 5+ years in nonprofit foundation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the BLF donor base.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize fundraising activities.
• Draft grant proposals for capital campaigns, annual grants, and special projects.
• Coordinate board and committee meetings and prepare monthly reports.
• Manage BLF communications including newsletters, brochures, and social media.
• Oversee annual giving clubs and donor relations strategies.
• Collaborate with Library Administration and BLF for events and budgeting.
• Ensure proofreading and editorial workflows for published materials.
