Job summary

Fredricksen Library in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Custodian to help keep the building clean and welcoming. The 20-hour-per-week role focuses on maintaining appearance and functionality through a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 3 pm to 7 pm. Pay is $15.30 per hour, and the position is part-time, non-exempt. The role requires high school diploma or GED and prior maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to follow safety guidelines and use maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties for restrooms, floors, windows, and surfaces.
• Set up the community room for programs and events.
• Notify Building Manager of needed repairs and changes.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks as required.
