Brevard County is seeking a part-time library assistant for the Central Area/Suntree/Viera Public Library. The role pays $15.99 per hour, about 25 hours per week, with evenings and Saturdays required.

You will perform data entry, processing, and maintenance of fines, fees, files and records in the Circulation area, delivering essential customer service. Requirements include six months of library, clerical, or retail experience with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of paid or volunteer experience in general library work; OR six (6) months of clerical or retail work which included strong customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Performs experienced office and clerical work providing customer service primarily in the Circulation section of the library through data entry, processing, and maintenance of fines, fees, files, and records.
