Job summary

Grand Rapids Public Library is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to support the Collection Services Department with copy cataloging and data entry to ensure materials are discoverable in the library catalog. The position is based at the Main Library with hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday; weekends or evenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Search catalog records to locate existing bibliographic data.
• Edit bibliographic data to meet local standards and headings.
• Update holdings, add barcodes, and prepare materials for circulation.
• Maintain records in the library's ILS and support daily operations.
