Grand Rapids Public Library in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a part-time Page to support the Main Library's materials flow and upkeep. The role focuses on sorting, routing, checking-in, shelving, and maintaining orderly collections, with shifts across Week A and Week B schedules and occasional Sundays.
Applicants must be at least 14 years old, able to obtain a work permit, and complete the Page Test after interview.
This is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week position involving various tasks related to the physical flow and upkeep of library materials.
Occasionally required: Sundays from 1-5 pm
This position will be regularly scheduled at the listed branch. However, this position will also be required to periodically work shifts at other branches as needed.
Applicants will need to pass the Page Test after their interview to be considered for the position. The Page Test involves putting call numbers in alpha-numeric order and will be administered on site directly after the interview.
