Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Prior customer service experience.
• Knowledge of computers, technology, and basic operations.
• Knowledge of Internet search engines and databases.
• Basic understanding of public library functions and the Dewey Decimal System.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulation, reference, and public service duties.
• Compile statistics and reports as required.
• Maintain knowledge of authors, materials, and information services.
• Operate branch or department as designated by branch or department manager.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Substitute staff work includes evenings and Saturdays per branch hours.
