Qualifications

• Evidence of ability to assist in the instruction of reading, writing and mathematics via state or locally approved competency test.
• Previous experience in a public school or library setting preferred.
• Good health and professionalism; ability to collaborate as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Assist library media teacher with instruction and monitor student progress.
• Use the online circulation system to check in/out materials and generate overdue notices.
• Manage print materials: locate, shelve, and assess damage; assist with inventory and repairs.
• Process new library materials: reconcile orders, check catalog records, add barcodes and labels.
• Support learning activities in the library and help students use digital tools.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and maintain a clean, organized library space.
