Job summary

The University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach, MS is seeking Adjunct Faculty for the School of Leadership. Courses may be online, in-person, or a blend, with undergraduate and graduate offerings listed under Programs: leadership, business, and logistics.

Assignments can vary by program needs; candidates will deliver lectures, prepare syllabi, and evaluate students while adhering to university policies and schedules. This is a part-time, non-tenure track opportunity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a discipline related to the assigned course of instruction.
• 18 graduate hours in the area of instruction (e.g., management, marketing, finance, logistics, etc.).
• Ability to deliver accurate, concise, and quality communication (verbal and written).
• Experience delivering courses online and/or in-person and working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Online and/or face-to-face course delivery and instruction.
• Prepare and submit syllabi, grades, and other required course documentation in the appropriate time and manner.
• Communicate course requirements and expectations to students.
• Follow policies and procedures of the School of Leadership, College of Business and Economic Development, and The University of Southern Mississippi.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
