Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated LBS1 Special Education Teacher or licensed General Education Teacher to provide homebound instruction to a student. This role offers a flexible, part-time schedule and the chance to make a meaningful one-on-one impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Active state-level licensure or certification (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Previous experience working in schools or with children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Modify general education curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Provide specialized instruction in one-on-one and small group settings
• Track student progress and update IEPs throughout the school year
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and IEP team members
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success
