Job summary

Hope Haven Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a part-time Laundry Driver to safely pick up and deliver laundry items between client and partner sites, Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM. The role also covers Laundry Manager absences to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, accurate logs, courteous service, and occasional supervision of laundry staff. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable attendance. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in driving, delivery, laundry, or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to drive both van and box truck safely.
• Strong time-management and route-planning skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company van or box truck for pickups and deliveries on routes.
• Load and unload laundry items safely with accurate counts.
• Obtain signatures and maintain delivery logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide courteous customer service and represent Hope Haven professionally.
• Fill in for Laundry Manager and oversee daily operations when absent.
