Job summary

Greenville Post Acute (GPA) in Greenville, SC is seeking a Part-Time Laundry Aide to help ensure residents have clean clothing, linens, and bedding while maintaining a sanitary environment throughout the facility.

You will collect laundry, sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver items to rooms, with attention to detail and safety guidelines. Prior laundry or housekeeping background is preferred; growth opportunities exist within the GPA network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety and infection-control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collect resident laundry and facility linens daily or as needed.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated areas.
• Label resident clothing items as needed.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care.
• Inspect linens and clothing for damage and remove items that are stained or no longer serviceable.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and laundry procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff.
