Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Warrenton, North Carolina, is seeking a part-time Laundry Assistant for Warren Hills Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. You will replenish linen, collect soiled laundry, and ensure washing, drying, ironing, and folding of residents' clothing.

You must be a high school graduate, attend Environmental Services Department meetings, maintain neat appearance, follow facility policies, and work every other weekend with weekdays off.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Attend all Environmental Services Department meetings and in-services.
• Demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies.
• Work every other weekend with rest days off during the week.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes linen closets and carts at appropriate times daily.
• Collects soiled personal laundry per schedule and transports to laundry area via covered hampers.
• Assures washing, drying, ironing, and folding of patient's personal clothing.
• Assists with assuring laundry services with the Facility meet the needs of the residents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
