Job summary

RegalCare at Worcester is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our housekeeping team. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and clothing, operate washing machines and dryers, and keep the laundry area clean and organized.

You will also manage inventory and deliver clean laundry to patients and residents. We offer training, a part-time schedule, and a collaborative healthcare environment dedicated to patient and resident care.

Qualifications

• 0 years of experience (training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items, including linens, towels, and clothing
• Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including sorting and storing laundry supplies
• Monitor and control inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any discrepancies to management
• Distribute clean laundry to patients and residents in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and tidy
