Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, and move laundry items and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and iron patient and resident clothing, linens, and bedding.
• Sort and categorize laundry items by fabric type, color, and handling requirements.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folding machines.
• Fold, hang, and package laundry items for distribution to patients and residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas, storage rooms, and supply closets.
• Follow infection control procedures to prevent disease spread and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management.
