The Landscape Department is responsible for all WSU landscaping. Experience with weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, trash removal, and other duties are necessary to be a successful member of the Landscape Department.

Physical activities include ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and maintaining equilibrium to prevent falling. Other activities include bending, moving about on hands and knees, lifting, and using upper extremities to exert force.
Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Required to have visual acuity to perform activities such as operating machines, skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature.
The worker is subject to environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, noise, vibration, and hazards from mechanical parts and chemicals.
