Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a landscaping technician to maintain ornamental plants, trees, and water features across the park. The role includes irrigation system upkeep, debris removal, and operating landscaping equipment to ensure a pristine guest environment.

You will need at least 2 years of irrigation/landscape experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. High school diploma preferred; training on safety guidelines will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Typically requires at least 2 years of irrigation, hardscaping, planting, and pesticide experience.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed per business needs.
• Knowledge of plants and their maintenance requirements; ability to use landscape tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, feeds, prunes, trims, and waters a variety of ornamental plants, trees, and shrubs to maintain a beautiful park.
• Cleans fountains and lakes; keeps gardens and green spaces clear of debris.
• Operates mowing, trimming, and other landscaping equipment safely.
• Maintains irrigation and sprinkler systems and monitors irrigation lines.
• Assists with pest control and ensures safety for guests and staff.
