Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide lactation care and breastfeeding support to mother–baby dyads.
• Document services accurately and advocate for patients.
• Teach patients and families, mentor staff, and contribute to care planning.
• Exercise judgment, coordinate nursing interventions, and delegate when needed.
• Engage in community outreach and educational activities.
