Job summary

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands company, is hiring a Retail Sales Associate for our New Jersey locations. You will deliver excellent customer service, assist players and coaches with product selection, and maintain organized racks to ensure a great in-store experience.

You should have strong communication skills, basic math, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior Lacrosse knowledge is a plus, HS diploma or current enrollment is required.

Qualifications

• Lacrosse experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role (Preferred but not required).
• Understanding of the retail sales process.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• High school degree or currently enrolled in High School.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers.
• Identify customer needs and answer questions about products.
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and after-sales services).
• Ensure racks are fully stocked.
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers.
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services.
