Overview

Part-Time Laboratory Technician (Toxicology – Urine Testing)

Journey to Wellness is a substance abuse and addiction treatment facility dedicated to helping individuals overcome challenges related to alcohol and drug addiction, non-substance-related addictive behaviors, and emotional trauma. We operate on-site POL laboratory for toxicology testing.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Laboratory Technician with moderate experience in toxicology or clinical laboratory testing to join our team. The technician will be responsible for processing and analyzing urine samples for toxicology screening in compliance with all regulatory standards. This is a part-time position (20–24 hours/week) with a flexible schedule, ideal for a detail-oriented professional seeking steady part-time work in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, log, and prepare urine samples for toxicology analysis.
  • Perform routine laboratory procedures and testing according to established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including basic troubleshooting.
  • Follow all quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy of results.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of testing, results, and sample chain-of-custody.
