Job Description Part-time Sample Preparation Lab Technician - Oklahoma City, OK

Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16-18 per hour, dependent on education and experience

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a detail-oriented Part-time Sample Preparation Lab Technician to join our client’s laboratory team in Oklahoma City. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing samples for testing, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all laboratory processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare samples following standardized laboratory protocols.
2. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent contamination.
3. Document procedures, sample information, and test data accurately.
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely testing.
5. Follow all safety guidelines and SOPs.
6. Calibrate and maintain lab equipment, reporting issues to supervisors.
7. Participate in quality control procedures to uphold testing standards.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
2. Experience in a laboratory setting or familiarity with lab practices.
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4. Ability to follow precise instructions and document procedures.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer software.
6. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
