JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Lasky Lab, in the Department of Biology, currently has openings for part-time Laboratory Assistants for the 2025-2026 academic year. The successful candidates will assist in research on the genetics of plant responses to climate. Preference will be given to full-time registered Penn State undergraduate students. Duties include setting up and maintaining experiments in the lab, greenhouses, and field. Other duties to include collection of information from digitized historical plant specimens, processing of plant material and growing media, and organizing lab supplies. These positions require great attention to detail. Interest in horticulture, geography, or environment is beneficial.
