POSITION: Part Time: Labor Relations Specialist
LOCATION: Hybrid Position (Residency Waived)
Duties

• Serve as principal representative for management at contract negotiations and consulting sessions with Employee organizations
• Act as Senior Human Resources Officer, assist, support, and supervise HR staff. Provide assistance in the day to day operation of the HR Department.
• Advise management on all aspects of Labor management practices and procedures including contract administration, interpretation, and Human Resources
• Provides technical guidance in Labor and HR matters
• Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, and other relevant labor laws and requirements.
• Advise Administrators and School Boards on Labor issues
• Draft formal agreements, contracts, and relevant policies.
• Management Representative for grievances and arbitration hearings.

QUALIFICATIONS: Either:

• Must meet Frankling County civil service qualifications for Labor Relations Specialist. OR
• Must hold valid School Building Leader, School District Business Leader, or School District Leader certificate from NYSED.
