Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana in Lafayette is seeking a part-time, temporary lab support position for each semester. You will assist with student questions, perform demonstrations, and help prepare and maintain lab equipment and materials in the labs.
The role includes minor repairs and ensuring the tool room is organized. Previous related training and a technical certificate are preferred, with a high school diploma or GED required.
This position is a part-time, temporary position filled each semester on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities include assisting Program Chair or Adjunct Faculty in answering questions from students regarding lab projects; teaching demonstrations; performing minor repairs on equipment; preparing equipment and materials for labs; and maintaining tool room.
$16.00 per hour
High school graduate or GED required.
Technical Certificate and two years on-the-job training.
