Job summary

Northridge Valley Senior Living in Los Angeles area is seeking a Part-time Dishwasher to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. You will work with the kitchen team to support a smooth dining experience for residents.

Shift is 10:30am to 6:30pm. Responsibilities include collecting used wares, loading dishwashers, hand washing when needed, stocking, setup, sanitation, and keeping supplies stocked. We offer a drug-free workplace and equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks.
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings.
• High school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand.
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
