Somnium Hospitality Group LLC is seeking an entry-level Steward to support kitchen cleanliness and sanitation. The role supports dishwashing operations and helps maintain back-of-house organization.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED; company will train the right person. You should be able to stand long hours, lift up to 60 lbs, and follow directions while taking initiative.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a responsive, helpful, outgoing personality.
• Properly maintain and operate dishwashing equipment.
• Dispose of all food, trash and drink from used dishware and pre-treat/pre-rinse before loading dishwasher.
• Ensure dishwasher operates at proper speeds, heat and pressure; report issues as needed.
• Clean dishwasher filters and drain areas after each shift.
• Maintain proper water levels when washing.
• Put away all washed and dried items in their proper places.
• Assist kitchen team with unloading and stocking cases of food items.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Keep pass-bar and prep shelves clean and sanitized.
• Know emergency procedures (grease fires, hood issues, etc.).
• Report needed repairs to supervisor and maintenance.
• Empty trash as needed.
• Perform all hotel, company and brand duties as trained.
• Support other team members and departments as available.
