Responsibilities

• Plans menus and purchases food and supplies for nutritious meals.
• Cooks, cleans, and prepares a variety of foods using kitchen equipment.
• Ensures enough food is prepared for the number of people served and on schedule.
• Services food and beverages neatly and plates for children or those needing assistance.
• Maintains kitchen and dining area cleanliness and hygiene.
• Stores, refrigerates, and freezes foods safely; monitors expiration dates.
• Maintains stock inventory and processes food purchases and invoices.
