Kimberton Whole Foods is hiring a Part-Time Kitchen Production Team Member for our Collegeville location. Schedule: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9am–5:30pm, up to 24 hours per week. Wage: $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Supports food production by making sandwiches, wraps, and packaging deli salads
• Prepares and packs baked goods and slices meats and cheeses
• Stocks ready-to-eat and grab-and-go areas with accurate pricing
• Maintains clean and sanitized work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Provides excellent customer service to guests

Kimberton Whole Foods is hiring! We are looking for a Part-Time Kitchen Production Team Member to join our Collegeville crew!

Availability: Part-time. Up to 24 hours a week.

Set Schedule: Mondays 9am-5:30pm, Thursdays 9am-5:30pm, Fridays 9am-5:30pm

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

Hourly Pay: $16.00 - $18.00

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

Kitchen Production Team Member: The essentials of this position are food preparation and packaging of organic scratch recipes to be sold in our Café. This includes the following:

• Supports food production team by making sandwiches, wraps,boxing deli salads,preparing and packing baked goods.
• Slicing, weighing, packaging of sliced meats, cheeses and deli salads.
• Supporting thejuice +espresso bar and café as needed.
• Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for cooking or serving.
• Stocks and fills the ready to eat& grab and go areas; ensures tag and pricing accuracy.
• Wash dishes, pots & pans.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor.
• Provides excellent customer service to all

Requirements

Physical Capabilities:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
