Job summary

Kimberton Whole Foods, Inc. is seeking a career-minded, full-time Produce Team Member for our Kimberton location.

You will join a vibrant team committed to integrity, sustainability, and supporting local farmers, while serving the community with fresh produce and exceptional service. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking produce, rotating stock, maintaining signage, and following SOPs to keep displays abundant and appealing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability Sunday-Thursday; weekend shift required.
• Hourly pay is $17.00, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Receive and stock all incoming fresh produce and related items.
• Rotate fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the department.
• Follow KWF SOP for displays to keep department fresh and abundant.

Availability:

Sunday-Thursday. Hours vary between 7am-8:30pm. One weekend shift is required per week.

Age Requirement:

Must be 18 years or older.

Hourly Pay

$17.00, depending on experience.

DAILY OPERATIONS:

The Produce Team Member’s primary responsibilities to execute the following.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items.
• Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
• Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
• Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
• Understands KWF inventory management practices.

Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
