Job summary

Village Catering Company is seeking a reliable dishwasher to help keep our kitchens clean, organized, and prepared for production and events. This part-time role is essential to the success of the culinary team and may also assist with cleaning, organization, and basic kitchen support.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. You will work weekday/evening/weekend shifts as needed, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour based on availability and experience.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a warm, wet environment.
• Willing to follow cleaning systems and help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pans, utensils, and catering equipment
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and maintain the dish area
• Remove trash and keep floors, sinks, racks, and work areas clean
• Return clean equipment to the correct storage locations
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning and organization
• Support basic prep, stocking, or load-out tasks when assigned
• Follow sanitation, chemical-handling, and workplace-safety procedures
