Job summary

Revive Life House is seeking a Part-time Cook to prepare meals from start to finish, ensuring compliance with health regulations and on-schedule service. You will report to the Food Service Supervisor for weekly schedules and duties.

Responsibilities include food prep, sanitation, waste control, and assisting with menu planning. Strong communication and organizational skills are expected, with HIPAA familiarity noted within the team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handlers Permit or able to obtain this permit.
• Must be able to read and follow basic instructions/directions and follow company rules.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and food products in accordance with company policy and health department regulations.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Prevent food waste by rotating old stock and prepare only the amount of perishable foods necessary to serve the number of clients in-house.
• Deliver superior service and maximize client satisfaction.
• Respond respectfully to clients.
• Assist with daily and special event food preparation and menu planning.
• Maintain inventory for food and household supplies.
• Other duties as assigned
