Job summary

Open Interviews are held every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 2220 Executive Drive, Hampton VA 23666. Responsibilities include menu-based cooking, proper portioning and presentation, adherence to health regulations, and assisting with staff

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in a kitchen environment.
• Effective communication and strong teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work 11am–7pm and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to menus and nutritional programs.
• Present and serve meals to standard quality and portions.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and proper storage of food items.
• Assist with training of new employees.
• Ensure timely meal preparation and serve residents per dietary needs.
