Job summary

KidStrong in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a coach with an athletic or coaching background to guide children aged walking to 11 years through brain, physical and character development. You will deliver the evolving monthly curriculum and engage with parents to explain the program.

Classes run on weekdays and weekends with flexible hours; there is potential to increase hours through camps, parties, and special events.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children.
• Experience coaching students in KidStrong age range.
• Experience speaking to and educating parents on curriculum.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• Strong, motivating interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starting, reliable worker.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Coach children on brain, physical and character development following the monthly curriculum.
• Speak with parents/guardians about the curriculum and progress.
• Manage classes according to the schedule: weekdays 9am–11am, 3pm–7:30pm; weekends 9am–2pm.
• Maintain a flexible schedule based on studio needs and camps/events.
• Contribute to a positive, energetic, and professional team environment.

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. Our private training centers focus on brain, physical and character development for children from walking to 11 years old. KidStrong is a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professional coaches.

Job Summary

We are seeking a coach with an athletic or coaching background, ideally with experience coaching children who walk through 11 years old. The KidStrong Coach will focus on coaching children on brain, physical and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum. The candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians about the curriculum. Classes run weekdays 9 am‑11 am and afternoon sessions from about 3 pm to 7:30 pm. Weekends start around 9 am through 2 pm. Flexible work schedule based on studio needs. Opportunity to increase scheduled hours through camps, parties, parents’ nights out, etc.
