KidStrong Mississippi is seeking part-time coaches to lead developmentally appropriate classes for children from walking age to 11 years old. Coaches will guide cognitive, physical, and character growth aligned with the weekly curriculum and will interact with parents to explain the program’s philosophy.
Ideal candidates have coaching experience with kids, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Weekday evenings, weekends, and private events offer additional hours.
KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident, high-character kids. We do this in weekly, 45 minute developmentally-appropriate classes. Each class includes unique science-based fitness games led by highly trained, kid-focused coaches.
We are looking for individuals with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages walking - 11 years old. The KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on cognitive, physical and character development that stems from evolving weekly curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind KidStrong curriculum. Our classes run weekdays 9am-11am and evenings until 7pm. On weekends we start at 9AM and run through lunch time. Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party and camp coaching hours. Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!

This position is Part-Time. Most part-time coaches coach 10 - 20 hours a week, sometimes more depending on the time of year and class schedule.
