Job summary

Acres-of-Diamonds is seeking a part-time Children’s Services Coordinator in Duvall, WA, to lead developmentally appropriate programming for children and oversee volunteers. The role collaborates with the Director of Children’s Services to ensure safety, trauma-informed practices, and engaging activities for toddlers through school-age children.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of direct child experience, a valid WA driver’s license, and the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active in a Christian church required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working directly with children, including experience leading or managing a classroom or group setting, required.
• Valid Washington state driver’s license and ability to travel to offsite meetings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and implement developmentally appropriate programming for children during program nights.
• Lead and run program nights, including direct interaction with children and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Oversee and support volunteers, maintaining site security and trauma-informed programming.
• Create and implement a plan to grow current kids’ program activities to meet holistic needs.
• Onboard volunteers to support Acres kids and staff during program nights (Mondays and Thursdays).
• Develop and maintain volunteer teams for ongoing program support and safety.
