Job summary

Acres of Diamonds in Duvall, WA seeks a Part-Time Children’s Services Coordinator to lead developmentally appropriate programming for toddlers through school-age children. The role reports to the Director of Children’s Services and involves supervising volunteers, coordinating program nights (M/Th afternoons), and ensuring a trauma-informed, welcoming environment.

Requirements include a Christian faith, at least 2 years working with children, WA driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 40

Qualifications

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active in a Christian church required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working directly with children, including leading or managing a classroom or group.
• Valid Washington state driver’s license and ability to travel to offsite meetings.
• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate developmentally appropriate programming for children and align with program goals.
• Lead and run program nights, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Oversee and support volunteers while maintaining site security and trauma-informed programming.
• Develop plans to expand kids’ program activities to meet holistic needs.
• Onboard volunteers and build lasting volunteer relationships for program nights.
