Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is seeking a part-time coach to lead classes for children aged 5–10 at local elementary schools. Sessions run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, typically about one hour per class with an optional extra 30 minutes for pre-care. Pay is $50–$65 per session with equipment provided.

Coaches will manage 8–16 students, follow provided lesson plans, attend a two-day training, and coordinate with parents and school staff. Reliable transportation is required to attend sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
