Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a part-time youth coach to lead after-school classes for children ages 5–10. Classes run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with about one hour per class and a possible extra 30 minutes of pre-care.

Pay ranges from $50–$65 per session; all equipment is provided. Coach should be 19+ and available for in-person work, with a positive, energetic approach to working with kids.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
